About me
With 20 years of experience in the design industry, I have worked with some of the biggest agencies and in-house teams across the world. My expertise lies in creating SaaS and digital service platforms that not only look great but also deliver a seamless user experience.
In my most recent role, I have spent the last 2 years leading the design department at Fast Radius & Sybridge Technologies, where I have overseen the successful launch of several major projects. These include the design of a new SaaS platform that allows customers to analyse, improve, make and ship parts, plus an end-to-end internal platform that allows our teams of product managers and engineers to handle workloads on multi-million dollar projects for companies such as Tesla and Space X.
I have a proven track record of being able to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. I am passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies and I constantly seek out new ways to improve the design process.
Notable work
- Fast Radius - A B2C manufacturing service platform that helps customers improve, make and ship their parts. In my time there, we managed to increase the amount of orders going through to purchase by over 48%.
- Sybridge Technologies - A project management system that helps run large-scale manufacturing jobs from creation through to plant assignment, production and shipping.
- Heading up 3 teams of product, copy and UI designers who were responsible for the entire digital and marketing output of a major manufacturing company.
- Heading up a 10-strong team of UX and product designers and being a successful part of the new business team at Mirum.
- Thompson Reuters - A client-facing data feed, accounts and personnel management platform. It was the first time anyone had managed to digitise these services.
- Wavemaker - A media planning platform that uses neural net AI to revolutionise the way media campaigns are planned. We managed to cut the time it took to create a media plan by an average of 99% !
- Beats Music - A streaming music platform that was no.1 in both the Apple and Android app stores. It ended up being acquired by Apple for $3bln and turned into Apple music.
- Mercedes Benz Vans - a new and used purchasing experience that brought the Mercedes van buying experience entirely online for the first time.
- Numerous B2C & B2B websites for brands such as GE, Unilever, Nike, Google, Aston Martin & Specsavers.
